A Racine man was killed Friday afternoon in a construction accident at the Mequon Country Club.
According to reports, the man fell from the roof of a structure that was being constructed about 2:30 p.m. Officials said because of the nature of the fall, they believe he died instantly.
An article in The Journal Times identified the man and said his remains would be shipped to Mexico City, where his parents live, for burial after a funeral in Racine.
The police and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration are investigating the incident.
