Farmer Killed After Bull Attacks

A 78-year-old farmer was killed Monday after he was attacked by a bull on his farm in Iowa County.

According to fox11online.com, Alfred Albrecht, 78, was feeding cattle with his son on the farm on Sunday near Avoca when the bull attacked him. His son had left to get another bale of hay right before the attack occurred.

The son returned and secured the bull before calling for emergency help. Albrecht was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
