Man Trampled By Cattle At Avoca Farm

A 20-year-old man was released from the hospital Wednesday after being injured when he was trampled by cattle Tuesday.

According to reports, the Muscoda man was trying to load several stubborn cattle when he was charged, trampled, stepped on several times and kicked in the back of the head.

He was breathing but unconscious when emergency crews arrived at the rural Avoca farm and was airlifted to University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison. Some reports said he was working his first week on the farm.
