Supervisor Gunned Down By Disgruntled Employee

A supervisor was gunned down in an apparent murder-suicide last night in Milwaukee.

According to police, 23-year-old Thaiv Xiong of Milwaukee shot his 58-year-old boss multiple times in a meeting about 6 p.m. Thursday at Trans-Coil International, which is at 7878 N. 86th Street. He then turned the gun on himself.

Officials said they do not know the specific motive for the shooting, but that is was a classic disgruntled employee-supervisor situation. The shooter is believed to have acted alone and did not target anyone else.

Fox6.com reported the supervisor worked for TCI for 25 years and was a second-shift supervisor.

TCI makes electronics and employs more than 90 workers.
