OSHA Fines Richland Center Facility $55K

OSHA cited Miniature Precision Components, Inc.’s Richland Center facility $55,000 Wednesday for failing to provide effective personal protective equipment for its workers.

According to the press release, the company was cited for the violation after an investigation showed employees working on mold machines and exposed to hot temperatures that could produce burns had ineffective personal protective equipment.

The company designs and produces injection molded components and its headquarters are in Walworth. The company has been inspected by OSHA five times since 1999 and has received 11 citations in the time.
