Investigation Into Workers Death May Take Several More Months

An article in the Green Bay Press Gazette said it may take five more months before officials can determine the cause of a construction worker’s death in April at a U.S. 41 construction site.

The 58-year-old Black River Falls man was killed in an accident involving a crane April 20 in the median. The highway project was part of a $200 million project.

The Occupational Health and Safety Administration has up to six month from the time of an incident to complete their investigation.

If you or your loved one has been seriously injured in any type of work-related accident, it is crucial you speak with a Wisconsin worker’s compensation attorney to discuss your situation and your options.
